Friends Barcode offers its clients the barcode data capturing unit which is also called portable data terminals. Its unique ability has earned it the name of small portable computers. Variants of these barcode data capturing unit incorporate within them some form of processing ability and software programs specially written for them. The multipurpose barcode data capturing unit comprises of LCD screen, keypad meant for entering the data, and the barcode scanner. In some variants 2D barcode imagers are also present. This unit works on a RF backbone which allows it to be instantly connected to the host system. The batch unit which comes with a cable/cradle allows the operator to download the batch of data as soon as the performed task ends.
